The Goldmann-style, single-use, Tonoclear applanation prism provides a clear view of the miers during routine examinations. The Tonoclear prisms come individually packed, preventing cross-contamination transmitted through tear film. Prisms are compatible with all Keeler applanation tonometers as well as non-Keeler brands.

Superior image quality – Visualization of the miers on single-use tonometer prisms can be tricky and often depends on the user varying the intensity of the slit lamp light beam to reduce internal reflections which frequently saturate the miers. The Tonoclear is designed to be less affected by the intensity of light and internal reflections which enables the user to gain a clear image of the miers to improve both accuracy and speed of measurements.

Sterility – Prisms are single-use and come Ethilene Oxide sterilized; eliminating any cross-contamination between patients. The prism can be easily thrown away after each use.
