During one of my grandchild birthday, my 6 grandchild had a wonderful time playing with this children's eye patches and chasing each other as pirates warriors. I could say they had a wonderful time and experience.

The elastic falls on to the eye

The concave nature of the patch keeps it off the eye lashes and therefore stays on for longer periods. My boy wouldn't wear a cloth patch for more then a few minutes at a time but wears this one for hours without complaint. The strap is not adjustable so it will be tight for older or larger kids. My boy is a Husky 2.5 year old.

These are the only eye patches my son will wear. I've tried the stick-on ones (nope - they get pulled off almost immediately.) I've tried the plain black ones (nope). I've tried soft ones (nope - they bend and end up poking him in the eye). Amazon stopped selling these multi-colored ones, but I found them here. Thank goodness. My son won't be wearing them for much longer, I hope. But until then, we'll be regular customers. As a side note, I give my son some metallic markers and he is able to customize each one to his liking. It makes him more likely to wear the patch. Whatever works, right?
