    BQ Type

Fits the Haag-Streit slit lamps BQ 900 and BP 900.

Provides a parking position and can be easily be moved into place for working.

The applanated surface is observed monocularly through the right eyepiece of the stereo microscope.

    R Type

Fits the BI 900, BM 900 and BD 900 as well as many third-party slit lamps.

Can be left on the slit lamp permanently.

Is fastened to the microscope on a mounting base and swivelled in front of the microscope for the examination.

The observation of the applanated surface is conducted monocularly – only through the left eyepiece.

    T Type

Fits the Haag-Streit slit lamps BQ 900, BP 900, BM 900 and BI 900.

Is set on a guide plate over the slit lamp axis that can be moved between two positions for observation through the right or left eyepiece.

The tonometer is placed on the slit lamp only when applanation tonometry is performed.

    Compatibility

The Haag-Streit Goldmann applanation tonometers are mounted in different ways depending on which slit lamp is being used. The tonometers are compatible with all models of Haag-Streit slit lamps, including the BQ 900, BP 900, BI 900, BM 900 and BD 900.

    Excellent optical quality

When using the correct procedure, the average deviation in a single exam does not exceed ± 0.5 mm Hg. They are largely handmade by experienced workers, and are checked for tight tolerances in weight, optical quality, durability and for consistent measurement results.

    Fast and reproducible IOP measurement

Goldmann applanation tonometry has been the gold standard in tonometry for many decades - it is based on the Goldmann principle.

    Clinically Proven

The Goldmann applanation tonometer has been tried and tested for over 65 years. Since then, over 900* studies have been published, proving the reproducibility and accuracy of the instrument.
